Glacia and Crystal, our 2 favorite icebergs, hit the streets of Vancouver during the 2010 Olympics, joining hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to celebrate winter and sports and the magnificent accomplishments of athletes everywhere. People, especially kids, swarmed to the icebergs to have their pictures taken,or to hold on to a berg’s shoulder or be embraced by a berg. Wherever there was music, the icebergs danced up a storm. (You can see this in our “Dancing Bergs Video Clip” on this site). One of the icebergs caught the eye of American TV star Steven Colbert and his partner who appeared intrigued to see icebergs on the streets of Vancouver. It often took the icebergs as long as an hour to walk one city block, because so many people wanted to meet them and hear their story. It seems Global Warming and Melting Icebergs are very HOT topics.

Welcome to a Tale of Two Icebergs.

This is where the adventure begins. Along the way, as you drift through Canada’s Arctic waters, you’ll be joined by Mother and Daughter icebergs who are desperately trying to keep from melting in an ocean dangerously overheated by global warming. Watch out below for an explosive burst from a big, blustering beluga  who will surface when you least expect it. But don’t look down too long …. look up, look wwaaayyy up…and you’ll see Gully, the squawking seagull, screeching out words of warning. As in all great adventures, there’s always time for romance. And who better to warm a female iceberg’s heart than a hunky, French Canadian iceberg with broad shoulders and a dashing moustache.

Olympic News: Did you know that there will be Icebergs appearing at the Olympics?    Two of them, in fact. These unique icebergs represent all the missing snow and ice that global warming has kept from this year’s Olympics. So if you miss Canada’s traditional blanket of ice and snow, don’t miss the icebergs in downtown Vancouver!
